Re: UAO-Amsoil, 14K mi

Copper is a tad high, not exceptionally bad but anything over 40 ppm is considered abnormal. You just reched that limit at 14K so it's not too bad - but you can do better.

The main reason to change this fluid is you are .01 points away from this oil being in the 30 weight range. It is at the very bottom of a 40 weight oil - so in my mind - it's time to change, in addition your oxidation level is at 38 - and 50 is the limit. I would say 10K would be a confortable change interval for your setup with continued oil analysis until you build up some more historical data.

How much fill oil did you add? Looks like calcium got boosted since the last UOA. Which Amsoil bypass system?

Engine looks healthy and your air filter is doing excellent at feeding your engine good clean air (Silicon at 6 ppm).

Re: UAO-Amsoil, 14K mi

I didn't add any oil since last UOA. I don't know how to explaine the increase in additives.

This is my byass setup. I wonder if some of the copper is coming from those brass fittings? I would think if it was bering ware there would be more lead?
