Re: Frantz oil filter

I run the Amsoil bypass kit but the Frantz is supposed to be even better. That being said I still love my bypass kit.

Re: Frantz oil filter

I run a Frantz and have had good numbers. It is amazing how long the oil stays visibly clean. I do not run particularly long drain intervals but Blackstone says I could go longer. I use the bypass mostly for piece of mind.

Re: Frantz oil filter

I ran one back in the mid 70's and it worked great. I just recently picked one up on eBay I plan to put on my Mustang. I have a honkin' big Gulf Coast bypass on the 6.0.

Re: Frantz oil filter

Just ordered my frantz tonight. People seem to get excellent analysis #'s with it. Besides thier filter elements don't get much cheaper....

Re: Frantz oil filter

Frantz bypass has been on about 2 weeks now. Gonna pull the element this week just to see how much it has pulled already. Gotta love cheap tp elements!
