first oil change ?'s

I am getting ready to do the first fluid change in my truck, I plan on using the schafers 9000 5w-40. Will there be a problem switching to synthetic when it mixes with the oil thats left in the motor? My truck has 140k on it. What do yall recomend for the trans, transfer case, and the diffs?

Re: first oil change ?'s

All I did was the normal draining of the oil and adding 5w40 valvoline synthetic. No problems here. Just change it like normal and the synthetic should do fine.

Re: first oil change ?'s

It will obviously get diluted, but after a few more changes you can be sure you'll be 100% to whatever you're putting fresh in there.
