Lube oil purification

With fuel prices on the rise again I'm looking for cheaper alternatives. I have unlimited access to used oil and ATF. The ATF is a no brainer I already have a filtration system there, but with the carbon that binds to motor oil I don't have a successful way I feel comfortable ruining it in the tank. I remember the ships I used to work on had a centrifugal type lube oil purifier. Then we ran it back in the sump. Just looking for ideas.

97 F250 5 speed w/homemade flatbed, diy intake muffler delete, empty emissions device, 10k, 3" dp, 5" tip.
more to come.
