Hey everyone,

I'm leaving tomorrow for BTS!!!!! In preparation for all the work I'm having done, I'm trying to install the 3 gauge pod that goes over the rear view mirror. The installation instructions don't mention removing the mirror to install the pod. In fact, their picture shows the mirror much lower than my truck's mirror.

Any of you out there in PSN land install this pod, and did you have to remove the mirror? If so, how does it come off.....I don't see any set screws. Thanks as always! V/r Les

i installed the 2 pod cleared the mirror no problem. just take a small screwdriver and pop the 1/2 round clip off front of mirror mount and remove the mirror. then mount the pod and re install the mirror.

I have had to move that glued on mount for the mirror before. Gentle heat and a cresent wrench works if it hoses up your pod location

If you have a 03 and up, 99% of the time your fine.

below that its hit and miss.

The windshields that say superduty across the top are 99% good to go.
