02 fummins 4x4 need help !!

ok guys im new to these forums hopefully im posting in the right place but I have a 02 f350 4 door long bed truck was originally a auto with electric 4x4 switch on the dash it has a 12v 5spd swap with the elec. for tcase im changing it from the elec to manual shift tcase I no the tcase has to b changed I have that part covered now I need to no wat floor shifter to use I thought u could just use the ford shifter but the only trucks I have been able to look at were auto trucks and the shifter mounts to the trans so my questin is what shifter assembly should I use any help would be great thanks

Just leave the electric shift one in there. You'll save yourself a good bit of headache trying to make the linkage for a manual shift t-case work.
Im assuming the 5speed you have listed is an nv4500? If so, you'll need to fab a mount and bracket to run a manual shift t-case. In ford applications the linkage for the manual t-case bolts to the side of the ford transmission....obviously, the dodge trans won't have the same set-up. Leaving the electric shift transfer case in avoids this problem.

Since the truck was an auto before, take the auto trans linkage and sensor, put the shifter linkage in neutral and just zip tie it or secure it someway to the frame. This should meet the parameters you need for the electric shift t-case to work.

I'm away from my notes for the next few months, so if that doesn't work, reply back here and I'll try to remember anything I've forgotten.
