hello all i just did my own ccv myself cost 10 bucks i just cut all of the old tubing off the 90 deg ccv elbo that goes in the cc itself and put 1 in heater hose on it and went strait down to the outside of frame rail and ziptied it to the bumper mount because i read the least amount of hose the better and i used a electrical box round cover and some rtv black gasket maker to seal the hole in cai tube is that alright or should i change it? thank you all
You'll probably be ok with that. I used JB weld and some thin cardboard (like off of a toilet paper roll) to plug the hole. It isnt really subjected to any pressure so I am sure you will be ok.
I used a 3/4" pipe plug and siliconed it into the intake. It was a tight fit, but worked 100%.
I also used 1" heater hose and ran it just past the cab so I couldn't smell anything afterwards.
Sounds like you did it right...congrats!
