Leaky injectors?

Alright here an issue I think I might have with my truck. Since ive owned it Ive noticed that the inside of the exhaust has always been wet. Ive also noticed some sort of black liquid leaking from the connections on the exhaust. The liquid doesn't smell like anything. It just never goes away. Could that possibly be the injectors leaking?

Re: Leaky injectors?

How many miles do the stock sticks last?

Depending on maintenance, I think I've seen Jim say usually just over 200k is a pretty standard place to see replacing them...

Does your truck run rough?

Re: Leaky injectors?

If your injectors were leaking dont you think the truck would be running rough? and the liquid coming out of the exhaust would smell like fuel?

Re: Leaky injectors?

Yep, Not your injectors if your truck isn't stumbling or missing. Could be Turbo seals...

Re: Leaky injectors?

Yeah I'm sure it would. Just couldn't figure out why exhaust is always wet.

Re: Leaky injectors?

Wonder if it could be condensation due to the exhaust being hot then cooler off at night.

Does it smell like oil? Also I doubt a leaky hpop would get oil into the exhaust.
