Unusual shake accelerating up hills

I am a newb to this site, so I am still trying to figure everything out. I have a 1996 F250HD regular cab. When the truck is in overdrive and I start climbing a hill the will start to have a lunging feeling and a shake to it. I have checked all my u-joints, the transmission was checked last week and there has been no evidence of what is causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Unusual shake accelerating up hills

First of all Since everything else in the driveline has checked out, what about the motor mounts? Something has to be loose if it's not trans internals. I can't say been-there-done-that, but...
Good Luck

Re: Unusual shake accelerating up hills

Thanks psd444! Yeah as soon as I get some time off from school and work I am just gonna go over the drivetrain with a fine tooth comb. It is getting to the point where it is just annoying and I don't need it to add anymore expenses down the road.

Re: Unusual shake accelerating up hills

Thanks 96Powerstrokin. Now that I sit here and think about it, my maintenance has went down hill a bit on my truck due to college. This is all good info, suppose I better dedicate a few days to her.
