Without knowing what the code is we would only be making expensive guesses. Get it on a high end scanner and let us know what the code(s) are. Parts store scanners can't read the codes on these trucks.

What did you use to pull codes?

I believe that is a trans slip code. My truck did the same and I ended up having to rebuild my trans because the lock-up in the TC burned out. It will shift through all the geard but the TC may not be locking up like it should.

Hey nutfarmer, what did your trans rebuild run you? I believe my trans is stock and I plan on setting some cash aside every month for a future rebuild.

Mine was about $3,700. triple disk billet converter, steel planetary's, trans go tugger, extra clutches in 3rd gear, I think there was a billet input shaft and a few other goodies. I had it done at a local trans shop.

That is a torque converter slip code. Your converter is crapping out and by now has sent all kinds of garbage through the trans. A complete rebuild is in your near future.
