Busted high pressure fuel line

Its the one that runs from the front of the FPR to the front of the head on the drivers side. It just split and it spewing massive amounts of fuel. Ford wants around $270 for it, of course. Is this something that I can get made up at a hose shop? If so, does anyone know the measurements? There is a metal tag on the line with this info: Aeroquip FK1847EEE0134 1821879C2 PT2006 5Q20356. It is for a 97 350.

Re: Busted high pressure fuel line

Oh if it's the one I'm thinking it is a return line so I guess I'm still using it sorry, just realized that. I would have a hose shop make one, I know I do that a lot but the hose shop here is awesome and I know the guy pretty well. I figure you'd have bout $40 in one if he made it.

Any decent hose shop around should be able to built you one for less than $30 or you can buy fittings and hose.

Re: Busted high pressure fuel line

I've removed my stock lines and all other fuel related stock items.

All the parts are on my work bench, I've got a factory used hose if you want it. I switch EVERYTHING out and did a custom regulated return.

PM if you want any hoses or anything.

Re: Busted high pressure fuel line

As many have said, it is easy enough to make yourself. You could even make some stainless braid ones if you wanted to buy the hose and some fancy anodized hose ends. That said, any hose shop that knows anything can make one with their eyes closed.
Not sure on the length, but the regulator side is 4an, just take it off and bring it into a hose shop and it shoudnt take more than 5 mins.
