Spare Tire Mount

What are all of you doing for a spare tire mount when you go to a larger tire that no longer fits in the stock location. My spare is in the bed of the truck and it takes up entirely too much space

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known

Re: Spare Tire Mount

If you do have the 38 gallon tank I would bet no matter what carrier that you had under the truck that you would almost drag the spare. There was a member of another forum that made up a H bracket that he attached a cable crank from another truck and used it for his stock spare so it can be done. For the OP check out JC Whitney or some other parts catalogs. They use to stock a in bed spare tire carrier that bolted to the bed and side rail for your spare.

Re: Spare Tire Mount

Find a spare carrier out of the inside of a bronco and mount it in your bed so when the tire is mounted on the carrier it is standing up on end.
