oil cooler question

my cooler was leaking from the front cover gasket so ive got the gaskets take the bolts all out after draining everything, i hear a splash in the rear and theres a spring and some sort of check valve on the ground/in my drain pan. i need some idea how to put it back in! pictures please

lost oil pressure - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

I found that with google real quick. I know there is more info out there. There is also an updated piece with a snap ring instead of a a staked in washer.
