Looking to buy chip for 96 standard.

I want to buy a dp tuner chip or tw chip. I want to find one for towing not smoke or drag rag racing. My truck is straight piped and a diy intake and i`m putting on a 3" downpipe, and i plan on stage ones. If i can`t find anything on here then i will call dp and tony next week and decide which one i want and order one. PM me and let me know what you have. Thanks Roger

Just my 02...but I can vouch for tonys tuning. All the guys in my local power stroke group have his tuning on their 7.3s and 6 leakers and they all run great. He has the 7.3 tuning down to a fine art, great guy to do business with too.

I had one of tonys chip on my 96 that i sold and i was extremely happ y with it. I have heard so many good things about dp that i wouldn`t mind getting a dp chip also. Tony`s chip is a great chip though.

I'm not knockin on DP, I have never tried them. However the only downfall i see with them is they use a unique chip and once you buy it and if you decide you dont like their tunes, you can't just go to another tuner and have them reburn different tunes onto your chip. They dont use a TS style chip.

Yeah...well if your leaning towards a dp tuner style chip guess pick your tuner...there are several tuners on here that do the dp tuning. All of them great.

I can get you set up with a Tw chip or a Swamps chip for your truck. Just let me know.

DP tuning is done by DP tuner.

all other tuners use the TS style chip which allow you the ease to have that chip reburned by any of the great tuners on this site.
