long term storage

So I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to my truck if it is going to sit for a while. I am in the coast guard and will be deployed for the next 2-3 months. I told my wife that she needs to drive it at least one a week while I'm gone. But I'm not sure she will do it cause the drivers seat is so worn out she can barely reach the pedals(guy I bought it from weighed 400 lbs!) Is there anything I should be worried about if it is sitting that long? Thanks in advance.

Haha, I had a hard time coming to terms with my wife driving it. She got a very detailed schooling on how to drive it. Where in washington are you?

Just about the driving lesson. She has never driven a diesel before.

Cool Re: long term storage

when my wife needs the truck she has a pillow in the back to sit on....at 5' 3" she can't reach the pedals without it...maybe its worth an old pillow/cushion to help your wife????
