P1661 is Output circuit check circuit error which is another PCM
It is sounding like you either have a bad PCM
or if you have a chip installed it could be causing an issue with you computer. The easy way to check that is to unplug the chip and see if the problem goes away. Another thing to do is to unplug the harness from the computer and check for oxidation on the pins and to clean thoroughly and apply die-electric grease and reconnect and test again.
