Torque Pro/OBDLinkMX

Received the OBDLinkMX today and downloaded torque Pro. Tried to connect read the codes, and no go.
Image shows what it said. What am I doing wrong.

torque doesnt read codes on a OBS? it works best at live data .
cargaugepro for DTCs and self tests.

Well I finally was able to read the the ECU. Shows no codes. Overdrive light stopped blinking, so who knows.
I am wondering, what should the trans temp be on 2wd, ext cab, long bed with no load on it be?
Torque pro was showing 202*, gauge was showing 240*.
