You would normally go by the engine serial number (stamped in the block down by the oil filter), but you can get the later one,F6TZ9F838A, and be fine. The only difference should be in the connector pin material. The break point is engine S/N 375548 and prior for the early one and engine S/N 375549 and after for the later. Cheers!
