1992 idi to 1996 psd conversion

hows it going guys i have a 1992 7.3 idi 4x4 with a bad motor and i have a 1996 7.3 2wd powerstroke complete running truck as donnor truck wat is everything i need to transfer to get it up and going and also with transmisson have big affect on this ive read other forums n ive seen just sell the idi and get a powerstroke but i dont want to it has 12 inch lift sitting on 40 inch tires and its more of sentamental thing its a project me and my dad want to do together thanks in advance

Sell the Powerstroke and buy a crate motor for the IDI would be the simplest.

Other than that everything in the engine compartment needs to be transfered over from the PS to the IDI. Also the dash should be moved over to make it simpler. It all depends on how much work and rewiring you want to do if you don't want to move the dash over.

96 F250 XLT 4x4, 4:10 gears, 5 speed, Tymar intake and HX hose, downpipe, pyro and boost guages, coolant filter, Luc clutch

welcome to PSN.
it is doable, but will require a lot of work.
you will need to change the complete wiring harness, both under hood and in cab.
plus the engine and instrument cluster.
the IDI trans will work on the powerstroke.
you may need a different flywheel though depending on the type trans.
