Need help with some problems with my turn signals and hazards

Hey all, I have a 97 f250 7.3 4wd automatic. My problem is I have no turn signals or hazards. I can manually use the turn signals like just moving the multifunction switch in the direction I want to turn but only when the brake pedal is pressed. I've replaced all the bulbs, checked the fuse and replaced both flasher relays. Also the hazard button has to stay on otherwise I have no turn signals or brake lights. And another thing I've noticed is that if I'm driving and i turn the hazards OFF my rpms increase about 300 rpm not sure what's causing that either. I'm at a loss to what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would replace/clean the multifunction switch.
