Question Clutch pop when releasing pressure

Noticed a fairly loud pop today when parking my truck when I let the clutch out. Didn't think much about it. Truck did it again when I parked it a few hours later. So I started working the clutch in and out. No real noise on depressing the clutch but when it is about 2/3 of the way to the start position it makes a loud click or pop that sounds like it comes from under the hood.

Side note. I had a 3" diamond eye downpipe and 4" straight pipe installed yesterday. Today is first time I have ever had noise. After truck cooled down tonight I went back out to try and figure out where noise was coming from and now the clutch won't make the noise.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Clutch pop when releasing pressure

Most likely a plastic bushing on the clutch rod that hooks to the pedal.
