Idle Drops Low When Trans Put In Gear

Engine idle speed will drop very low when I put the trans in drive but then recovers to normal speed within 5 seconds or so. It seems to be worse when the air temp is cold and the engine actually died once earlier this year. Been doing this for a couple of years but I only drive the truck several times a month, but seems to be getting worse lately.

Also replaced injectors a couple months ago along with new ICP, CPS, and rebuild IPR. The problem seems worse now but I can't really attribute that to any work I did necessarily, maybe just more time passing. I was thinking possible trans/torque converter issue but it doesn't lurch forward at all even with no brake pressure. I would think it would?

Have access to AutoEnginuity but haven't had the time yet to do any diagnostics. Just seeing if anyone has seen something similar.

Thanks!
