Burning Oil Smell

I did an oil change 2 weeks ago and since then have noticed the smell of burning oil from the exhaust. Its not dripping and its not smoking, but it sure smells like burning oil. I do have a Provent 200 CC catch can and I got about 1 quart of oil over 4000 miles. I recently installed a KCTP38R turbo and just noticed a little oil residue on the rear pedestal bolt.
Is there a way the oring could leak causing oil to enter the intake side and get burned? Im going to cut open the fuel filters this weekend to check for oil in them. Truck starts right up, idles smooth. It does have blowby but it has 300,000 miles on it. It isnt enough to blow the oil cap up. This oil change I did switch to Motorcraft from Delo oil. I wonder if its possible that the odor was always there but the motorcraft oil smells different?
