96 transfer case

I have a 96 that I bought dirt cheap to start building. The truck is missing the wire connector and the rubber hose that comes out of the transfer case. Along with the shift lever for the transfer case. Does anyone know where the rubber line goes? Does anyone know where to get the shifting lever assembly?

Re: 96 transfer case

rubber line from t case is just a case vent, you can plumb in a new hose and route it up high so water does not enter the T case

Shift linkage you can get at a junk yard? Your t case should be a BW4407
The linkage and shifter mechanism sometimes show up on Ebay, might be able to source from online Ford parts house.
I would try my local craigslist and junk yards

Would the missing rubber vent cause me to leak fluid? I have noticed some fluid I believe it to be tranny fluid however it’s not red. It looks like motor oil, but I’m not leaking anything from my motor It’s clean.
