Hard start when left sitting, once warm, starts instantly

1995 E350 powerstroke.

Intermittent problem, but generally if its sat for a day or two it will take a while to start.
Then throughout that day it starts right away, everytime.
It has new batteries and a new, stronger starter.

Ive seen online it could be multiple things. Just wondering if someone knows right away!

Cheers!

Please excuse my ignorance. Can I monitor that from a code reader? I do not yet have one.....I will buy one asap (Recommendations?).
I was hoping one of you guys might just say, boom! its this. Ha ha.

Just FYI. The HPOP was replaced the day I bought it.

Check to see if your HPOP reservoir has drained down a little. Easy check anyway.

How cold is it where you are at?

Don't overlook the obvious such as glow plugs and the glow plug relay.

That will definetly help!! Also Bugman suggested glow plugs. Might as well ohm them out to see if they are good. Dont have to take the valve cover off to check them.
