Need help identifying part: Leak at trans dipstick adapter tube?
I have looked everywhere for this replacement part... diagrams, write ups, forums, Trump tweets... No luck!
I've sprung a leak where the transmission fluid dipstick enters the case right above the pan. If I understand it correctly, there is a long dipstick tube, then a small adapter piece with an o-ring seal that seats in the transmission case. I have found the part for other ford vehicles (bronco) but I cannot seem to find one for my 96 f250 7.3 4x4... Does anyone have any experience finding this part or replacing it?
