E4OD trans issues, Please Help

My 97 7.3 is having an issue with the trans.

Early this week, I replaced taillights. The next day I started my truck, drove down the rode. Noticed my ABS light on. This light has not need on from owning the truck. I didn’t notice any brake problems while drive. I got on the Highway. Transmission shifted into four gear fine, but, NO Torque Converter lock. I was in fourth gear at 60mph at 2100rpm. No Cruze controls function either.

My blinkers work, all lights work. OD button works and is not blinking. The truck shifts normal, just no torque converter lock up. It runs ok for the most part. In the past, I have had a problem that may be related. While driving, Cruze control on. Left blinker works. Then, once right blinker is touched, Cruze control shuts off while driving.

Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this and try’s to help.

Are they LED bulbs? They will confuse the PCM into thinking the brakes are on, which will unlock the torque converter.

On another note, is it possible to take the rear lights out of the equation (transmission independent)?

I just replaced the tail lights with stock bulbs. This solved the problem 100%. My transmission now has TC lock and the ABS light is off.

Thank you very much for the help!
