Excessive rattle when stopping and turning

Hi everyone! I recently got my first deisel truck, it's a 1997 f250 7.3, 2wd with auto trans, she only has 80k miles on her. Engine seems sound but when it warms up and you slow down for a stop it gives a loud racket almost like the regular deisel noise just a louder volume, but it stops as soon as you are actually stopped and it doesnt do it when taking off again. it also does this when making a turn after its warm, I dont think it's the engine, could a cracked flex plate or bad torque converter cause this type of noise, I have 0 loss of power from the engine and it always fires right up. I can send as many pictures as needed, but I wanna find out if it's just harmless noise I'm not used to or something more serious, I can fix a flex plate easy myself, but i hope its not the engine
