Speedo recalibrate

I have recently swapped to 35” tores and 4:10 gears. Previously I had 285/75r16 and 3:55 gears. I have read a couple forums on how to recalibrate the speedo, but will this affect my shift points at all? I did a comparison calculator and it seems like stock tires with 3:55 and 35 with 4.10 are pretty close to equal.

Any help or advice is helpful. Does anyone know what code I need for the 35s?

I don't know what's next.

Re: Speedo recalibrate

the shift points are controlled by the computer coupled with engine RPM's and VSS signal.
so recalibrating the speedometer should not change shift points.

Correct but do I need to changed them with the gear swap?
