Year later . My 1997 crew cab dually five speed

Well a year later Iíve got 280000 on the service truck . Iím really pleased with it , it will haul pretty much whatever I can fit in it . Since itís a crew cab I took the rear bench seat out and loaded it with a small tool box on one side and stacked more tools on the other side . Iím pretty sure Iíve exceeded the 10,000 Gvw lol . The engine runs pretty good but Iím thinking it could use a hpop , it runs good sometimes and better others . I suppose I could open up the IDM and see if itís got water in it . Anyway overall itís a great OBS .

Thanks for the comments . The scaled weight was with me in it so subtract 200lbs . Here in upstate South Carolina white vehicles are where itís at as far as not cooking while setting in it
I might put some chrome in the wheel wells chrome dually simulators and do a little black trim here and there . Itís a work truck.
Ps if anyone has any used but presentable chrome simulators drop me a line

Re: Year later . My 1997 crew cab dually five speed

Well they can certainly see me coming
I have this idea that itís a work truck and it doesnít need the ďblingĒ but I do agree itís sorta bright and drab at the same time . Need to visit a junk yard and see whatís around as far as vent shades and chrome stuff .

Re: Year later . My 1997 crew cab dually five speed

Well I had a dump truck break down , loaded too . Threw the nut off the driveshaft and consequently the universal joint and slip yoke . A logging truck pulled the truck up the street a ways but his strap broke . All this before I could get there . Anyway the broke down truck was parked over a large puddle . I decided that I would attempt to tow it with this service truck lol . Hooked up a chain and moved it about 20 feet or so . Scale ticket on the dump truck was 69,550 .
Canít beat old ford iron lol
Fixed the dump truck on the side of the road , old 1989 kenworth T800 .
