7.3 no start.

Was driving home and truck started losing power like empty fuel tank.pulled over wont start.towed it home and bypassed the tank with a pump to engine.still no strt.haveefuel conversion so no more bowl.tried spare cps.have tachometer movement andhigh white smoke.fresh oil md hpop is topped off and not drinking down.also tried good icp/ipr from running truck.have video of a.e. running.how to attach video or just use youtube?any advice appreciated.

Hpo system seems fine.
Almost has to be on the fuel side. Unless the injectors aren't firing.

1979 chevy c30 dually, sm465, 373's? Converted to 6.2 diesel, pump turned up and advanced a hair.(wrecked)
1994 ford F350 dually 4X4: 7.3 powerstroke, 5 speed. 6637, straight pipe into dual stacks. Cooper discoverer at/3's.
2010 Jetta TDI 40 or so mpg :flippa:

Have oil flowing from injector spouts and white smoke from exhaust.passes buzz test and injectors are clicking when cranking.could it be a stuck injector?

Doubt it. That wouldn't keep it from starting.

The white smoke should be unburnt fuel.

How fast is the starter turning the engine over?

Put a meter on the batteries and see how much voltage is on them as you crank the engine over.

Do you have a place where you can check the fuel pressure?

96 F250 XLT 4x4, 4:10 gears, 5 speed, Tymar intake and HX hose, downpipe, pyro and boost guages, coolant filter, Luc clutch

Voltage not an issue.had brand new interstate batteries and charger on.fuel pressure good.has regulated return system with gauge in video.recently replaced starter.cranks very fast

Yes CPS good.pulled out of my other 7.3 that is running fine to try.also Had a brand new ford cps as well.tach movement on all 3.btw the truck is. 97.f350
