Glow plugs and rocker arm question 7.3 DIT

Question: While replacing my glow plugs about a week ago I did not first soak up the oil around the glow plug, so some oil will have dripped into the combustion chamber. Will this be a over pressure problem in the combustion chamber and by the time I try to crank it probably 10 days or more will have gone by? Also, I checked the torque on the the 4 rocker arm pedestal bolts for each cylinder at 20 ft-lbs, and then noticed a 5th 8 mm bolt just below the injectors between the valve springs. Is this 5th 8 mm bolt a rocker arm bolt and what should it be torqued to? Thanks for your expert advise!

The oil won't be an issue. That 8mm bolt is one of the injector hold-down bolts.

Shoulda bought a Cummins.

The injector holddown bolts should be torqued to 120 INCH-lbs. Old service manuals used to spec 105 but the value has been changed.

Crank the engine over by HAND a couple of times to make sure its not hydrolocked. If it turns over then its OK.
