Need help. Towing questions.

Iím about to ride with a friend so he can purchase a 1997 crew cab long bed 4x4 7.3 powerstroke. Itís in amazing shape and runs well.
While we found that, I found myself a f350. Itís a regular cab 4x4 7.3 powerstroke. Having to tow because it has some engine issues.
How can I tow this vehicle? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
The truck is 4hrs away from my home.

I have no idea what the weight is of the vehicle? Anyone know?
Would a tow bar work?

For that long of a haul find someone that has a equipment trailer to put it on.

Don't even think of trying U-Haul, they have nothing that will handle the weight. I would say that the truck will weigh in around 7K.

What about using a tow bar?

Re: Need help. Towing questions.

I wouldn't, when you are towing a vehicle that weighs as much as the vehicle that is providing the power things just don't equalize out. Also I don't know of a tow bar out there that would be rated for a F350 4x4's weight.

Perhaps if you could find a dolly that would work where you can place the front end up on it.
