Re: 1997 Powerstoke

Looks like you will be needing VC gaskets, UVCH pigtails, and Injector harness pigtails. If you look around, some of the online vendors sell them together as a kit at a discounted price. Some have options to include new glow plugs as well. When you replace the UVCH parts, be sure the glow plug wires underneath don't rub on the pushrods or rocker arm mounts. Not a really fun job, but best to do it right the first time.......

Re: 1997 Powerstoke

Welcome to PSN, the harness, valve cover gasket etc., I have purchased from Riffraff Diesel Performance out of Oregon. Great service and good prices (least compared to Western Canada). I’d recommend using stock parts for replacement as they will last longer and are good quality. Also when I replace my plugs I usually apply some dialectric grease at the connections. There is a repair kit you can get that has a small screw driver like tool (flat blade, green handle), to aid in unsnapping harnesses, well worth getting that. Lastly while you're under the VCs I’d check and replace all the glow plugs.

cheers,
j
