High pressure oil rail End plug replacement

Ok so I have replaced the large plug at the end of the oil rail on the rear drivers side of the head. I put it in put loctite on it and tightened it up then let it sit overnight. I started it today and it did what I figured it would it just cranked for a good bit refilling the oil rail and then it finally started so I shut it off and added oil to it to get it back up to where it should be I took it for a drive but now it takes more cranks to get it to fire than it used to.

Is there something else I should be checking or adding oil to?

Go for a good drive at highway speeds and it should clear all the air out of the system.
