1996 Ford f350 7.3 powerstroke

Just had oil pump and fuel pump and glow plugs replaced...when starting up truck as it started to catch white smoke came out driver side under hood and instead of catching it continued to turn, this is my first Deisel so not sure what to look for, checked fuses all good and not obvious sign of burn..any suggestions or ideals...thanks...i love my truck but not sure what to look for...

my first thought would be to inspect wiring, sounds like something was hooked up wrong when it was put back together.

the high pressure oil pump or low pressure was replaced?
Mechanical fuel pump?
Did it run after this work was performed? Or is this the first attempt to start after having the work done?
