HELP!!! Truck down need to repair asap!

I have a 96 f250 7.3 I went to start it today and I got no wait to start light and CEL on. I checked fuse 22 it's good. I unplugged my chip no difference. I went to check for loose battery connections and the passenger side positive post was so hot it burned my finger. I recently replaced the pcm, it also has a strickley diesel Efuel kit. Truck will crank over no issues there. I need this truck back on the road my daily driver is down and I was using the 7.3 as a daily until I fixed my dakota. Please help thanks.

Dana 60 king pin front axle conversion.

Sounds like a major current draw. No direct experience, but I have seen reports where the fuel bowl heater will short and cause problems with that circuit (including the PCM), but will _not_ blow fuse #22. So I'd start with disconnecting that heater. Other possible draw is the GP relay; try disconnecting it.

I tried putting my scan tool on it today and it wouldn't read it keeps saying error communicating with vehicle. I have a snap on brick scanner has worked in the past. Thoughts? I just replaced the pcm like a few months ago, however this isn't like that. When I condemned the pcm the first time no cel was on and I had to do a diagnostic trouble tree to figure out it was the pcm also there was no cel and the wait to start worked. This is different the cel is on immediately with koeo and no wait to start light.
