I have a 96 F250 4x4
. I have a kinda weird issue (to me). From a dead stop and can got to WOT
and it will go through the gears and in 3rd it will cut out at 3100 rpms, in stock tune. If I go to the 40 hp tune even in 1st it will start to climb rpms then die and white smoke out the tail pipe. I got a good deal on the truck so I have replaced, fuel pump, CPS
, UVCH, and VC. Normal driving I have no issues and get 18-19 mpgs. In stock it will hit 3400 psi
oil pressure. I am thinking the lpop
can't keep up with what is being commanded. Is this something that you have seen.
