ELC tester

Please excuse the stupid question.

WHAT tester do I need to test the freezing point of ELC coolant. I googled it but all I am coming up with it test strips

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known

This is what we use at work. Not sure it's what your looking for.

Old Blue, 97' F350, CCLB, 7.3, Auto
Air: SD IC, 3" Plenums
Fuel: E- Fuel, 160/30 Injectors
Turbo: Irate T4, S366
Oil: T500, Melling LPOP
PCM: TW TS, IDM Mod

I didn't know you needed a special tester for ELC coolant. Lol
I know there's test straps for checking the sca in it.
Then the ball type like above.

1979 chevy c30 dually, sm465, 373's? Converted to 6.2 diesel, pump turned up and advanced a hair.(wrecked)
1994 ford F350 dually 4X4: 7.3 powerstroke, 5 speed. 6637, straight pipe into dual stacks. Cooper discoverer at/3's.
2010 Jetta TDI 40 or so mpg :flippa:

Ok, thanks. I have one of those and one for Sex-cool. Wasn't sure if there was something different for ELC

Do you run elc in your truck Brad? I have seen alot of people think it may hurt the obs injector cups. I just run generic green in mine with a filter.

I think if you replace the sleeves with the newer style when you replace injectors, you're golden with ELC.

The issue was the early loctite used.
But I've heard from others that work on internationals, and it wasn't ever really a problem.
Personally, I still won't chance it. Lol

Not yet but yes my powerstokes are going to all be running the ELC. This is just for my lightning
