Fuel Overflowing From Rear Tank

I have fuel overflowing from my rear tank while I have the front or rear tank selected. I assume I have trash in my selector valve. My question is if it is possible or effective to clean the valve? A new one is expensive!!!!

I think I probably have parts of my old tank suction filter thing stuck in the selector valve. When I had the tank dropped I tried to vacuum it all out but probably missed a few chunks.

Re: Fuel Overflowing From Rear Tank

Did you recently run that tank close to empty? Does your filter light come on?

Re: Fuel Overflowing From Rear Tank

I had problems with my rear filling up from the front tank (or it could have been the opposite, I don't remember). I replaced the tank switch on the dash and it didn't help so I replaced the selector valve. Guess what? That didn't help. A mechanic friend told me that my lines could be plugged. I ran some biocide through for a few tanks and it's worked well since. The next step would have been to blow the lines at the valve. I'm

Re: Fuel Overflowing From Rear Tank

I converted to E fuel. Filter light comes on when my pressure is <30psi and it works. Have 2 full tanks. I'm 90% sure I have trash in the shuttle valve and it's sucking from 1 returning to both. Going to cycle it a few times tomorrow with a buddy by the valve to hear if it sounds right.
