LD vs. HD

I am a New Guy to both Forums and Powerstroke ownership. I purchased a 1997 F350 7.3 crew cab and I am looking at tonneau covers. One company mentioned product for a LD 150 & 250 and another product for the HD 250 & 350. I know it's Light or Heavy Duty but I have not seen that designation anywhere. Any thoughts or insight?
Thanks!
Ron

Re: LD vs. HD

Light duty f250 looks like a f150.
You need the heavy duty.
You be sure use 1996 instead of 97

01 f-250, Standard
Rev tech 4" lift, 37" military wrangler Mt tires
KC diy 66, Full force 160/100 and custom tunes from PHP
Banks intercooler and full 4" exhaust, Diy S&B intake
Diy quad feed, Hydra, Isspro boost, pyro, and fuel pressure
3/0 battery cables with military style terminals

Re: LD vs. HD

correct. whenever asking for or ordering parts for your truck, ask for parts for a 96 F-350 diesel and all the stupid questions will disappear.
