Injector oil deflector

So i just installed some new to me injectors and truck idles better and runs decent. I've been chasing a blueish smoke from the tailpipe since I have got the truck. When I took the VC off to check the wiring i noticed one of the injectors not flowing as much oil from the spout as the others. Could I have torn an o ring and its dumping oil into the exhaust? Or does that usually mean the injector is bad? I am hoping I just tore an o ring and the oil is leaking into the combustion chamber and that is also my oil issue. Does this logic sound right? Or just get another injector?

Re: Injector oil deflector

could easily be O ring issue just as you suspect, pull injector and find out
oil can go into combustion chamber too and get burned up
Oil in exhaust often is bad turbo seals

I agree with 410customs... Also, if an injector was not seated properly or an o-ring is torn, you will have some blue smoke.

Re: Injector oil deflector

it's an easy enough fix to replace or fix the o ring and see whether the issue is solved or not . Perhaps you could try that out first and see whether the issue is resolved and then we can work it out from there. I mean from the looks of it, right now the problem is one of the other, so you might as well see what you can fix first and then move forward with the results. Hopefully everything will be ok after that first fix. Good luck.
