1995 f250 parts swap

Alright guys first time posting. I currently drive a 1995 SCLB 7.3 4X4 automatic. My dad has a 1999 f350 5 speed 7.3 work truck that's been wasting away in the yard for a couple years. I was wondering if there are any parts I can swap into my 95?,Also does anyone know if 235 85 r16 tires fit without any modifications? I appreciate any info thank you.

Re: 1995 f250 parts swap

I would be all over that 99 7.3 to put in my 95
What are the miles on the 95 and the 99?

You can use the 99 7.3 in your 95, will give you bigger turbo and intercooler you can convert your 95 to E fuel using the 99 parts also
The front and rear axles make a nice upgrade also ditch your TTB, you can run the superduty leafs front and back, the 99 rear axle will be disc brakes also.
99 seats in good shape?

I wish I had a superduty parts truck!

Thanks for the reply 410 customs. The 95 is stock with 162,000 and the 99 I have no clue. The last time I seen the 99 run it decided to puke oil everywhere. The 95 is my baby. My gpa bought it off the showroom floor in 95, gave it to my dad when he upgraded, then my dad gave it too me for my 1st truck.

Re: 1995 f250 parts swap

The 99 to 95 engine, and front end are not direct swaps. There are quite a few things that would need to be done to the 95 to accept the front end and while the 99 and 95 have the same engine the 99 has some upgraded parts that need to stay with the 99's electronics.

It can be done but there is a lot of work involved.

Re: 1995 f250 parts swap

Well the 99 is a dually so def no axle swap. Basically I want all the compatible parts that'll fit the 95 before the 99 gets junked

Re: 1995 f250 parts swap

The engine and the inner cooler is it then. Plus you will need all the wiring harnesses for the engine along with the PCM, and electric fuel pump to convert it over.

On the front end you might be able to switch it out and change out the hubs to get it to work but I am not sure.
