Re: power lock cylinders

Is it the actual lock cylinder or just the switch? What's it doing? I don't have a line for the cylinder.

Re: power lock cylinders

im pretty sure its the lock cylinder, it barely moves when ya hit the lock or unlock button, the passanger side works like its brand new. i figured since the passanger side works just fine i think its the cylinder and not the switch.

im gonna work on the keyless entry soon and want to get it back up and goin soon.

Re: power lock cylinders

From your description of what your lock cylinder is doing I think the internal fusible link or "safety thingy" is bad. I don't know what it's called but there is a mod you can do to make yours work again. Here's a link - http://www.thedieselgarage.com/forum...ad.php?t=53371
