Rough Idle

Hey Guys its not a real big problem but when idleing my truck runs just a little rougher than it used to the word i would use to describe it is choppy.Its consistant only a guys who know about 7.3s could hear it.also in the cab somtimes you can hear a slight pulsing sound from the motor has anyone else heard anything similar to this and knows what could be the problem?

I know exactly what your talking about, I installed the high pressure oil crossover hose and it made the engine quieter and also idle much smoother. I can still hear the pulsing sound and it might be inherent to the powerstroke. Ive also heard that it could be low fuel pressure?? hope that helps any

Try cleaning out the fuel pressure regulator screen. More often than not, that is the idle problem on the OBS.
