Rear spring hangers

Whats the deal with em? My dads 94 F-350 were rusted through, mine were replaced as well. Both trucks, the front hangers look fine. I wonder, is this a common problem?

Yep, if you live in the "Salt Block" it will happen. I know one of my hangers is rather bad. The salt get's thrown up there & just puddles up & rots away your hanger.

Yep pretty normal. The biggest problem is the dish shape they have that holds all dirt and water in there. Mine were swiss cheese when I noticed them.
