engine rebuild question

95 5sp 4wd
I have a stupid question, I am getting ready to put my engine on a stand (front cover replacement), do I need to remove the flywheel? I've already removed the pressure plate, for clearance.

Re: engine rebuild question

More than likely yes, unless ya gonna do a compression test. I had to space mine out to get the flywheel to fit on the stand.
