tranny temps too high??

I was towing my skid steer and my tranny temps were almost at 210. is this too hot? and also, what kind of mods can i do to lower my tranny temps a bit? thanks.

210 is okay for a few minutes, like climbing a grade for example. But I'd do something about that. Auxilary coolers, deep transmission pan, new fluid and filters will all help in varying degrees.

yep add a aux cooler to what you have and see if the fluid looks clean not brown and chunky. :)

You are not going to do any damage at 210*. I would get a larger cooler if you want a superduty V10 would be my first choice of coolers.

PSD. CC 4X4 195K, IDM mod, 6 Leaker IC, DP Tuner 6pos chip, WOP QSSB Turbo, kit by Carson Stauffer. Swamps 175/146's sticks, CNG kit 35mpg's on the diesel, E-fuel, Adrenaline and converted to a ZF5. RSK rolling on 35's. 4" straight pipe. 2011 f350 ccsb leveled on 35's, I can neither confirm nor deny that it is tuned and deleted!

Mine ran noticeably cooler when I changed to Schaeffer's synthetic trans fluid.
