HPOP ID 646056A

I am trying to ID my High Pressure Oil Pump. I do not think it is factory due to finding parts of what looked to be an old HPOP in the engine valley (ball bearings/o-rings) and the fact that the HPOP is newer/cleaner than anything else in my driveway. It is a flat backed pump that has the markings 646056A on a UPC sticker and also embossed into the pump casting above the sticker.

It it a 15, 17, Ford reman, Autozone special? It looks considerably newer than the IPR sticking in the back of it...

Thanks in Advance,

Aaron

IIRC the only way to tell what pump it is, is by taking it apart. but im not sure i know i read it on here a while back.

Re: HPOP ID 646056A

Thanks Cratos. It turned out that the HPOP was dead so it was swapped with a true 17 degree unit. The 646056 was a reman but with a build date of 1998. The new pump has a build date of 2006 and a humped rear cover. I was thinking about taking it apart but was curious if it would reduce its value as a core.
