brakes

the brakes on my truck squeak alot, but this is only when they heat up (like after a mile or 2 of driving). when i press the brakes full down i dont hear the squeak, it is more when i press them light. the rotors looks fine and the pads have a good amount left on them. the brakes and rotors have about 26,000 miles on them. any ideas? o yeah, i didnt take the tire off this is just from a visual inspection, should i take the tire off maybe? thanks

Re: brakes

I would take the tires off and feel the rotor to make sure it doesn't have any gouges or anything. other than that, it really only takes a little dust to make a terrible racket.

Re: brakes

Pull the pads, grease the pins. Hit the rotors with some emery cloth, scrub the pads on some rough concrete.
